By now, any good campaign has moved out of fundraising mode and into major field efforts to mobilize voters to get to the polls. Volunteers on the doors and phones matter right now. And your dollars are fuel for these volunteers:
- Food. Your $25 donation buys two pizzas to feed volunteers on the phones, who then stay longer and make more calls.
- Gas. Your $40 donation can fill a gas tank for an organizer to drive elderly voters to the polls.
- Door Drop Literature. Your $150 donation can pay for another run of literature that volunteers hand out when doorknocking.
- Hotel rooms. Your $1000 donation can put an out-of-area volunteer in a local hotel during GOTV so they can work door knocking shifts multiple days in a row. This is happening right now across MI, PA and WI.
