We want to win & you shouldn’t donate to the Senate. Both are true.
Don’t do it. Don’t put one more dollar into the Senate.
I know you are feeling anxious and scared. We are too.
I know you keep saying to yourself, but I have to do more. We do too.
I know you’re angry that it could even be close. We are too.
We are all these things and more and STILL I am telling you >> Do not put even one more dollar into US Senate races. I will tell give you 3 simple ways to do more. But, the Senate isn’t it and here’s why:
- Senate Dems have raised more than $250+ Million in the top 7 most competitive races, leading their Republican counterparts in money in every single race… by a LOT. They have the money they need to compete. These 7 are: MT, OH, MI, AZ, WI, NV, PA.
- Polling shows Dems up in ALL but ONE of these races. Consistently.
- Sen Tester in MT is behind, but more dollars here now will not change this. Tester has more than $40M to blanket his state in ads. At this point, it will be a nail bitter… but more money here won’t change that. Your dollars can change the dynamic elsewhere.
- I’m sorry but No, Senate Dems will not win in TX or FL. It looks like TX will be close, but most importantly, both are huge states that would require tens of millions more to have any hope. The Democratic Party, with their masses of internal polling, hasn’t made that sort of investment in either state, which means they know the same thing. Don’t put more dollars here this cycle.
Here’s 3 things you should do today:
1. Give to the US House. Dollars per campaign in the Senate are 10x what they are for a US House race, which means your money goes a lot farther in these races. And, Dems need to control the US House to certify the Presidential Election and support a President Harris, regardless what happens in the Senate. 2. Give to North Carolina. Giving to these state legislature races will help turn out Democrats, and in turn, help Kamala. Trump literally cannot win the Presidency if he doesn’t win North Carolina – he has to win NC for his electoral math to work. Plus there are no races where your dollars go farther than state legislature races.
3. Give to Presidential Battleground Races. Pennsylvania, Arizona, Wisconsin and more will determine the presidency. Every dollar you put directly into close state legislature races goes to do two things: (a) turn out Dems for all Dems on the ballot including Kamala; (b) ensure Democratic majorities in states who need to certify election results- for example in PA, where Dems need to flip just a few seats to take control. Every dollar here gets splits evenly across races that will help to win the Presidency.
