All fall we’ve sent you the stuff that matters, from ICE agents outside polling places to AI data centers showing up on your electric bill. You opened them. You shared them with friends- all so we could each do our part to WIN in November.
Now we need you to put money behind it. There are 39 days until Nov 3, and control of the House comes down to a handful of seats that a few thousand votes will decide.
Regaining control of the House requires Democrats to net 3 seats – that’s it! But we can’t wait for other people to donate the money Dems need to win.
Flip the States started running attack ads back in May, laying the ground work to beat these Republican incumbents in our highest target flip districts. We’re still going – attacking these Republicans where it hurts- with the truth. We need your help to continue through Election Day.
In 2024, Democrats spent $1.4 billion on House races that were never close.
That money went into 314 races. Zero flipped.
Thirteen seats did flip that year, and we correctly ranked 12 of them as top pick up opportunities. The DCCC’s official target list had 8, and picking targets is their entire job. We’d like a word with whoever signed off on that budget.
So we built the thing that was missing. Flip the States scores more than 45,000 races on 27 data points to find the seats that decide control. Then we make attack ads against the Republican incumbents holding those seats and put them in front of the voters who will decide.
Our last ad cost $299 and reached 14,171 voters in Colorado’s 8th District.
Our top-ranked flips are tied or leaning towards the Democrat. Meet four Republicans we’re coming for.
Four of the six highest-impact House races in our rankings are Republican seats we can take. Each one was decided by fewer than 7,000 votes in 2024, and each one is polling inside the margin or leaning our way right now.
Ryan Mackenzie, PA-07. Our #1 ranked race in the entire country. Mackenzie won in 2024 by 4,062 votes. A Franklin & Marshall poll out this week has firefighter Bob Brooks up 45 to 40, with 16% still undecided, in a district Trump carried by 5. Those undecided voters are exactly who our ads are for.
Mariannette Miller-Meeks, IA-01. 799 votes. That was her 2024 margin, the narrowest win of any House Republican in the country and a smaller crowd than plenty of Iowa high school football games. Christina Bohannan is back for round three, and a July poll had her up 40 to 35. Iowa in a midterm is a cheap market to run ads in – but it’s not free. Get out your favorite points-earning credit card and let’s rack up some rewards for running these attack ads.
Rob Bresnahan, PA-08. More than 100 Republican lawmakers were expected to skip their own party’s midterm convention (a weird and creepy celebration of their Dear Leader) this month. Bresnahan went and gave a speech. Bold move for a guy whose favorability back home sits at 38 favorable, 45 unfavorable. He won in 2024 by 6,252 votes, and the latest public polling has Democrat Paige Cognetti ahead 47 to 45.
Gabe Evans, CO-08. Evans won by 2,449 votes. This week a group backing him released a poll from a Republican firm, and the best his own side could produce was 48 to 46 over Manny Rutinel, with a 4.9-point margin of error. That’s a tie. In the same poll, 48% of voters view Evans unfavorably. His big data center bill is as fake as his cattle ranch. Colorado votes by mail, and ballots go out in a few weeks. We need to hit him hard every single day from now until November.
